Kamchatka

Optional programme: helicopter tour to the Valley of Geysers, one of the greatest discoveries of the 20th century, the pearl of Kamchatka. The valley is hidden in a deep canyon on the territory of the Kronotsky Biosphere Reserve. During the flight, you can admire the beauty of active and extinct volcanoes, mountain ranges and taiga expanses, rivers and lakes. During the walking tour, you will see all known forms of hydrothermal manifestations in nature: hot lakes, pulsating boiling springs, steam-gas jets, mud pots and geysers

The Vilyuchinsky hot springs are located at the confluence of the Spokoiny stream and the Vilyuchi river, on the right bank of the river, not far from the foot of the Vilyuchinsky volcano. These springs contain real mineral water, and everyone can swim in them and experience its effect on themselves. In addition, on the way, you can see the picturesque waterfall on the Spokoiny stream. The height of the waterfall is 16 m, the width of the sheer falling stream is 5-6 m. Rocky river banks at the place where the water falls are adorned with dwarf alder and stone birch growing on almost vertical slopes.

Departure by car to the volcanic plateau near the Gorely volcano and ascent to it. The ascent to the volcano is not difficult; it goes along old lava flows and slag fields. Of interest are the "kekurniki" - frozen lava rocks of various shapes. The ascent takes 3 hours. The difference in height is about 900 m. From the top of the volcano you can enjoy the views of Kamchatka and inspect the main craters.

The Vachkazhets, due to its southwestern circus surrounded by battlements, resembles an extinct volcano, and the circus itself looks like a badly destroyed crater. In fact, the hill is the highest part of the Yuzhno-Bystrinsky ridge - 1556 m. Over many millennia, glaciers have lowered its height, gnawed the slopes with circuses and smaller karas and gave it a wild and picturesque look. In ancient times, Vachkazhets was a single volcano, but as a result of a strong eruption it exploded, which led to its division into three main clearly defined parts: Mount Letnyaya Poperechnaya (1417 m), Mount Vachkazhets (1500 m) and Vachkazhets itself (1556 m). There are also hot springs, lakes and waterfalls near the volcano.

Walking tour to Camel Mountain. This mountain got its name from the fact that it has two sharp peaks, a bit like camel humps. From these peaks you can see two famous Kamchatka volcanoes at once: Koryaksky and Avachinsky. The height of the mountain above sea level is 1250 meters, and the relative height is 200 meters.

During a boat trip along Avachinckaya Bay, you can see the panorama of the capital of Kamchatka, the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, as well as Avachinckaya Bay. The route runs past Tikhaya Bay, Babushkin Kamen Island, Stanitsky Cape. Of course, you cannot miss one of the symbols of Kamchatka, the Three Brothers stones - a group of rocks formed, according to the legend, due to the fact that the sea god decided to turn into stone the three brothers, protecting the city from the surf. During the walk, you can get acquainted with the fauna of Kamchatka: inspect the bird colonies where guillemots, kittiwakes and cormorants live, and even see seas.
